Relief/Support Chef Manager

Job Description

We currently require an enthusiastic Chef Manager who is looking to develop near the Herts and Bucks area; providing a breakfast, sandwiches and lunch service.

Hours of Work: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum DOE

Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, workplace pension, uniform & employee benefits package and onsite parking

You must have good culinary skills, be able to work on your own, show initiative, good time management, have basic computer skills and provide professional, friendly customer service. You will have responsibility for the entire catering operation.

Applicants should possess and be able to demonstrate the following attributes and have previous experience in a similar role:

  • Excellent food knowledge and a passion for delivering great service

  • Produce food in line with the site budget

  • Create menus and food that will wow our customers

  • Work well under pressure with a calm, mature and professional approach

  • Be innovative and creative with a desire to succeed

  • Be IT literate with financial acumen and effective food cost control

  • Be an effective team leader

  • Possess an organised and structured approach to all aspects of if the business.

  • Have previous experience within a similar environment

  • Ideally experience within the Contract Catering sector
