At TB, we’re always proud when our team goes the extra mile — and in Paul’s case, he’s done just that (literally!). Paul C has been on the move, raising vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) through not just one, but two incredible challenges.
Slane Castle 5K Trail Run
Earlier this summer, Paul took part in a 5K trail run at the iconic Slane Castle in Ireland. Tackling uneven ground, steep climbs and the beautiful — if tough — course, he powered through to the finish line with GOSH firmly in mind.
DEKA Fit Challenge
Not stopping there, this month Paul and his wife Elaine stepped up to take on the DEKA Fit challenge — and it was a serious test of fitness. They smashed through 10 brutal zones; burpees, pull-ups, box jumps and farmer carries(to name a few) with a 500m run between each zone. By the end, they had completed 5K of running plus 10 strength/endurance challenges — a true feat of determination and grit.
Supporting a Worthy Cause
Thanks to Paul’s efforts (and Elaine’s too!), we are now at 74% of our £12,000 fundraising target for 2025. That’s an incredible milestone — but we’re not done yet.
This November, we’ll be hosting a charity dinner to help us reach (and hopefully exceed) our target. More details will follow soon… but for now, we want to say a huge thank you to Paul, Elaine, and everyone who has supported the cause so far.
Together, we’re making a real difference for GOSH and the children and families they care for.
