From March 21st to April 1st, Janice Talkington and Paul Bates are taking on an exciting new adventure to Nicaragua, a Central American nation known for its dramatic terrain of lakes, volcanoes and beaches.
After a first successful trek to Borneo the Talkington Bates Co-Founders are back for more as Springboards celebrate their 30th anniversary.
Immersing themselves in local Nicaraguan life, camping with refreshing cold showers, no WIFI, drop toilets and primitive building tools; the eleven-day wildness journey will include climbing four volcanos, raising valuable funds for the Springboard charity and helping improve the life of the local people.
The money raised leading up to the TREK will also go towards helping 70 people in the UK to overcome barriers to employment.
