In November, Talkington Bates hosted an exceptional charity dinner in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), bringing together clients, colleagues, and friends for an evening of fine dining and fundraising. The event, curated by the talented Nisha Parmar and supported by Chef Director Jack, Executive Chef Jamie, and the London team, provided guests with a remarkable culinary experience. Complemented by a silent auction, the evening showcased the collective commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community.
The charity dinner raised an impressive £2,100, thanks to the generosity of those in attendance. This contribution will directly support GOSH’s essential work, including life-saving treatments, pioneering research, and the provision of compassionate care for children and their families.
Earlier in the year, Talkington Bates further demonstrated its dedication to this vital cause by participating in a Tough Mudder challenge on September 7th. A team of colleagues braved challenging obstacles and raised an initial £3,795 through their remarkable efforts.
Combining the proceeds from both initiatives, the company’s total contribution for the year reached an outstanding £6,820. These funds represent a significant step toward supporting the incredible work carried out by GOSH and reflect Talkington Bates’ commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need.
The company remains steadfast in its mission to support charitable endeavours and is deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in these successful fundraising efforts.
